E36 3.2 M3 vs E46 M3

  1. My friend has euro E36 3.2 M3 all stock and he raced with like 5 E46 M3s and every time he wins. Is it normal that old E36 M3 is faster than E46 M3?

  2. I don't see why not. If it's got the Euro 3.2 it's pumping out 321hp and it probably weighs less than an E46.

  3. I'd rather have an E46, sportier. And E36 3,2 vs E46 it really comes down to the skills of the driver

  4. I think the E36 is faster. I saw a streetrace between a E36 and E46, both stock, and also the E36 won.

  5. It's probably down to the skill of the driver.

    The E36 M3 3.2 is only 10kg lighter than the E46 M3.
    And the E46 M3 has 343hp vs. 321hp from the E36 M3 3.2

  6. do these races include corners?

  7. No corners.
In the first an second gear E46 is 1-2 meter ahead. In the theard gear they are at the same level. In forth gear E36 is ahead. Till 250km/h

  8. The real difference is that the majority of e46 drivers are shitty.

  9. The way you dicribe it i'd imagine the E36 has a somewhat broader power curve.

  10. Euro S52, yes. They're rated at 321 bhp and in a lighter car. Sucks we didn't get that in America, thanks for only the extra 7 lb ft.

  11. I don't even know which I like more...

  12. lately i've been really liking the E36. So this is nice to hear about it.

  14. I've been a fan of the E36 all my life.
