EPA Fuel Economy

  1. Hav u checked out the fuel economy numbers that are posted here??? iv always wondered how supercars.net has gotten its info, but this mistake is HUGE (ok, may b it's not THAT important). How is a car with a huge V8 gonna make 30.5 mpg?!??!!? also it has a 3968lbs weight (again from supercars.net which u can nevr tell if it's rite... is it the curb weight??? weight w/o gas, driver, etc???)<!-- Signature -->

    How's it gonna make 30.5 mpg? It's a 6-sp, you know that. Low revs, low gas usage. I don't know whether it has a turbo or not, though. Probably not, right?<!-- Signature -->

    I doubt a V8 can ever manage 30.5mpg, unless the cylinders are tiny.

    tiny cylinders = higher revs = more gas consumption.

    Unless you're driving the car very hard it's not unreasonable to get that fuel economy.
