  1. The way I drive, this was gonna happen sooner or later. I floored it off the line as usual and I heard the LOUDEST bang and grinding. I immedeatly knew it was my differential.

But today I was not prepared for the amount of damage, I need a new ring, pinion, and differential.

I think that I'm gonna get 4.10:1 gears to replace the 3.55:1 ones. And for the differential, a Zexel Torsen differential because it is one the best ones out there. Instead of conventional ring gears, it uses worm gears.

  2. that sucks, what car

  4. It was a coincidence too that a Car Craft issue came out at exactly the same time my diff breaking about replacing the exact parts on the same 8.8" ford diff as mine.
  5. You drive a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor? Wow, that baby must get some respect on the highway. Just don't get rear ended...BOOM! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
