  5. My gf listens to skrillex. I don't have a problem with that unless her phone connects to my car and I am forced to listen to electronic barf music. I retaliate with cradle of filth.

I can't do a top 3, so here are my favorites with my favorite songs by them. And a little blurb by me.

Siriusmo - Itchy Dubbed the Mozart of electronic music, this terribly underrated artist continually melts my face with his beautiful melodies and wide variation of sounds.

Dark Sky - Confunktion Dark/angry-ish music for when I'm in the mood. Great sex has been had to these guys, especially this song.

Modeselektor - Shipwreck ft. Thom Yorke Complex beats, often emotion-evoking music with unique sounds. This Berlin duo should not be missed live - they put on an amazing show.

Moderat - Milk Modeselektor + Apparat = Moderat. This one's an emotional 10-minute musical journey that keeps building up and building up without wearing you out. These guys are so #$%#ing good. Other favorites include: Nr. 22, Seamonkey, Rusty Nails, A New Error, Bad Kingdom, Gita, and Last Time. I could listen to any of these songs any time and get lost in them.

Simian Mobile Disco - I Waited For You Here's a feel-provoking track that takes a simple vocal sample and melds it while building up.

The M Machine - Glow These guys are just the most creative trio in EDM.

Flume - Insane Another feel-provoking track with pitch-shifted vocals. Great build-up.

Disclosure - What's In Your Head VIP Highly imaginative porn samples on a great UK house pop beat. Good sex music.

Röyksopp - Monument ft. Robyn Beautiful voice, beautiful melody, chill beat, and (spoiler alert) awesome saxophone at the end. I don't know how Scandinavians put out such good, lush music - is it the weather?

Nero - Satisfy Dark, hard-hitting, techno-influenced track. So good when you want to get pumped up. Heavy Gesaffelstein influence.

Machinedrum - Dont 1 2 Lose U Hip hop fans will like this guy's wonky, fast beats and voice samples.

SebastiAn - Tetra This guy is insane in the head and makes insane music. Hard to get into. Here's one of his friendlier songs featuring some neat harpsichord melodies.

Slugabed - Mountains Come Out of the Sky One of my favorite melodies; I'm pretty sure it's sampled but it's beautiful. I get chills listening to this track. All of his music is so different than other artists'.

Lone - Crystal Caverns 1991 Typically goofy and lush, reminiscent of Nintendo music.

James Blake - To the Last I put the live version so you can hear how good he is live - it blew my mind when I saw him in concert. Very emotional, typically depressing music. Love it.
