just turbo a mk3 and have a better car
I'm only using stock toyota parts
I've only removed factory subs/spare wheel/aftermarket wheels
Weighed in at 1148kg at the weigh station
Also I'm using the same engine that came from factory
And yes my old rev 1 ended up in a bush/trees/ditch
Now I have an Rev. 2/LSD/Sticky as #$%# tyres/better control
Seriously, go and drive a turbo rev 2/3
But in saying that, I still want a 1.8 NA MX5
Would rather a 2zz-ge MRS, I know of one for sale.
There's also a guy down in Dunedin with a turbo busa motor in his MRS race car
i'd never replace a car with the same version of a car i had previously owned. better to try something different
NA 1.6 BBR Turbo MX5 would be sweet
great fun revving upto 8000 rpm, until the oil pump takes a shit and the engine explodes
I think the 370z are hot.
what kind of tires
2800lbs/1270kgs isn't really THAT heavy (and that's the heaviest they got), 6.1s to sixty in '91 wasn't bad at all (Ferrari 348 only does it ~.2-.5s faster), they handle great if you know what you're doing and are rock-solid if maintained. Bottom line: WRONG.
Think I'd rather have this one:
Great with snow tyres
wish NSX's were abundant here <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
ive never seen an nsx in my life <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
I wish people would stop doing shit to them.
It's getting harder to find an NSX that hasn't been #$%#ed with
both NSX's that doledring and eb110ss4lyf posted are gross riced out examples. stock or die. the eb110ss guy has also ruined what was a nice looking s2000. #$%#ing ricerboys
4 weeks before ming the merciless here starts thinking about more power
I saw a clean looking late 90's NSX two weeks ago.
did get smoked on the motorway by a E39 BMW 523i the other day.. i suppose thats what and extra 30 hp/ 60lb ft plus the much better aero a bmw has 0.28 cd vs 0.36 cd.
I would have stomped on that mother#$%#er round the twisty country lanes though
700+hp, near stock interior with a clean widebody is "riced"? Wheels aren't my very favorite, but aside from that, what about it is possibly "riced out"?
Thought that was my car in the little thumbnails in the main gallery. It got around pretty well in the snow, actually. Replaced it with a winter beater 240SX the next two winters.
I dont like that style, keep the cars character how it was meant to be.
doing stuff like that will ultimately de-value the car, now matter how much extra power/speed/handling you can obtain. Fair enough for a race-type application, but this is a street car right?
