    i have a video of an f50, murcielago, nsx, porsch gt1 and gt2 racing.
    the f50 came in first and the gt2 came in second. the murcielago came in third.

    F50- 387.8 kw / 520.0 bhp
    Lambo- 432.5 kw/ 580.0 bhp

    Top Speed:
    F50- 325.1 kph / 202.0 mph
    Lambo- 330 kph / 205.1 mph

    1/4 mile times:
    F50- 12.1 seconds
    Lambo- 11.7 seconds

    Dude, realistically, if you don't want to fry the clutch of the Murcielago, you'd never do better than 12 seconds to the quarter. And 12 seconds for the F50 to do the 1/4 is on the lower end of the scale.

    On the track, well obvious who'll win.

    On straight Lambo is a little bit faster, but in the real world there are many many corners...
    Murciélago is very powerful, but:
    it's too heavy: DRY weight is 1650 Kg, F50's KERB weight is 1338 Kg (french Sport Auto);
    Centre of gravity is too high;
    brakes are worse: @ 200 Kph Murciélago is 148m, F50 is 138m;
    weight distributions is not perfect like the F50, cause the engine is giant and heavy;
    in Vairano handling track Murciélago loses against 996 Turbo and GT2, and 360 Modena has the same time (F50 is N/A but, we know, is more faster than Modena...)

    ay... another one of these questions

  7. Re: Ferrari F50 vs. Lamborghini Murcielago

    Lambo 11.7 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
    if you only keep the engine and four wheels, maybe.

  8. Re: Ferrari F50 vs. Lamborghini Murcielago

    I've a lot of Murciélago's test:
    best ever was 11.4s (!!!!!!!!) by Auto Motor und Sport
    and I've another good time: 11.5s by Auto (Italy)
    but I've many 12 - 12.1s (R&T, Quattroruote) and 12.3s (Top Gear)

    F50's best ever is 11.9s (Sport Auto Fr); AMuS 11.9s; Quattroruote 11.9s

    I repeat: Murciélago is a little bit faster on straight: is very powerful and has a great traction, but on track F50 is surely better.

    It's obvious, Ferrari. The F50 accelerates faster than Murcielago because of it's low weight. 0-100mph for F50 is a lot faster for Ferrari. And everyone knows which car has better handling so I won't even bother discussing.
