Im seriously thinking of buying myself tickets too... I have never seen any reporting on local media from the event, so getting press post might be possible in theory. But probably not. Looking awesome.
Everything about this project is both ludicrous and brilliant. To be painted soon? I'm also gonna need hi-res images of the 2 cars together. If you don't already, they deserve a little website with the pininfarina concept sketches, construction and driving photos. Also - which one do you like more? Maybe it's like picking your favourite testicle, but still...
Black/Carbon is more difficult to capture well with cameras. Cannot think of anything but red. That brighter Formula 1 shade... Then again it does look nice naked too <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
Hah, fellow Finn Salo in driver lineup. I guess I have to see this live. I was somewhat dissapointed his Le Mans adventure ended before race this year.
I have to admit I didn't really like the original Enzo-based P4/5 design. But it grew quite a lot on me. Instead, this Competizione didn't need to, It caught my eye immediatelly. It looks much more proportioned on the Scuderia base. And as much as it hurts me saying this, I really like it in CF flat black. But a slab of Rosso Corsa would suit it as nothing else...
http://www.vallelunga.com/track.aspx Testing time in Vallelunga next week. Test sessions will be open to the public, P4/5 Competizione will run together with other cars. Wednesdays 2 febbraio: 9-13 e 14-17 Thursday 3 febbraio: 9-13 e 14-22 Friday 4 febbraio: 9-13 e 14-17
Thanks for the update James. IMO, leave it in bare CF for the N24 then paint it Rosso Corsa when you convert it back to street. Best of both worlds.
so mr glickenhaus, did you get a phonecall from ferrari with the instructions to say it's not a ferrari project, but your own personal project?
I've always been quite clear that this is my own personal project not Ferrari's and I'm very happy to reiterate that fact. Anyone who publicly states that I've ever said or implied anything to the contrary should look up what happened in the case of Glickenhaus vs Daimler Chrysler...
Good to hear. I've read some rumours that Ferrari made you state that it was your own project, because they didn't want anything to do with the project.
