FTO: GPX or Type R?

Discussion in '1997 Mitsubishi FTO' started by D Viper, Aug 10, 2002.

  1. Why does a GPX cost more in the U.K. than a type R. Is the GPX more powereful, faster or what?
  2. Re: FTO: GPX or Type R?

Type R for me. Here in Singapore the GPX costs more than the type R and it's not worth it. It's slower than the Type R and it's got a 4 speed auto.

What do you think of the GM 454

A 4 speed tiptroic, and you dont need to decelerate when you shift up. nice.

thank you. I think it is a legendary powerplant. with a few modifactions. Exhaust, headers, carbs. It would be making in excess of 500hp
