That's way more exciting then gymkahana.
what game is that? ugly graphics.
Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed.
If it really looks like that it's a huge step down from the 1st Shift. I'll try it out this weekend I think.
png to jpeg conversion is messy. Use some imagination, and ugly in comparison to what. You're probably thinking back to the user created mod for the first Shift, I have faith in the community. Someone will clean this game up too.
awesome. can't wait for this
this looks awesome
looks vaguely interesting. Im not sure if the consoles can run this though without reducing the quality.
nice scrub-rez on your poorputer
it better be as good as it looks
also a bad game
Yeah, I'm going to get that.
WTF happened to the MechCommander/MechWarrior/MechAssault games?
Anyone who has Reach around, worth playing again for a while. For April they added a playlist: no equipment and Halo 1 and 2 maps. The good ones too like Lockout, Beaver Creak and High Noon.
Action sack is cool too, has sports games like hockey and random shit like speed ctf.
I can stand Crysis 2 on hardcore at 30fps, but racing games shouldn't dip below 60. Your look at your options, make your concessions, and go with it. Anything to keep from playing at 1280x720 where it feels like my eyes are being cut from the jagged edges.
anything below maxed out graphix = scrub-rez
videogame jaggyness = bad game
sorry about yore life
I just remembered, one of my favourite games this year was Gemini Rue!
What happened to mech games is they died like the point and click adventure, which should make you feel optimistic for the future.
i miss point and click games, or those games where you were had to answer questions and then the story would continue.
consoles wont get it
Yeah but point and click adventures are still being made to this day.
Microsoft bought the rights to it and developers then killed all the PC games to promote the xbox. Needless to say a complicated sim and strategy game wasn't useful for consoles so they cancelled everything and then kept the franchise rights stopping anyone else making them. Microsoft's game strategy during early 2000 was pretty much to obliterate PC gaming and force people to buy a xbox.
MechAssault was pretty damn good but super short.
It was also creepy how fast MS shut down all their 1st party studios at an alarming rate around 2008~2010. Its sad that LionHead is actually still alive when others like Ensemble is dead.
