  1. get one off ebay. they are like $7 there and just about as good.

i wish they just packed on in with it like they do with the 360 (at least mine came with one)

  2. I just bought it like 10 mins ago
You'd think the cable/long USB cord would come WITH the $450 system

  3. yeah. but it doesnt, i just bought a few logitec PS3 controllers, they have wires, but were only $20.

also i think there is something wrong with my DS3, when i use it it feels like i have push really hard to get the full effect of the button, which begins to hurt when im playing little big planet and you are constantly jumping (if i press it like i press the sixaxis/360 controller i dont jump high enough to even get on an average sized platform, let alone jump across any large holes without pushing really hard.

  4. a friend of mine used an old router and switched the firmware in it, and it works perfectly in place of the stupid little $100 dongle.

  5. I thought about this as well but I don't think any of the old routers I have can be used as wifi repeaters.

  6. Underworld is easily worth double that though.

    It's brilliant.

  7. I doubt that. The shitty combat alone makes me reluctant to buy...

  8. GH:WT drums no work with RB <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A> <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A> <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  9. 1st party games aren't considered profit IPs for the 360/PS3. The can, and do make a profit but third party sales are better for both.

Nintendo makes games on the cheap to sell wiis. Wii music could have been done in 12 weeks by a 360/ps3 dev team, including testing.

  10. They should work with Rock Band 2.

Are you talking about the first game?

    Did you really just pay $60 for an HDMI/USB combo?! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/amazed.gif"></A>

If so, take it back immediately and buy two these instead...

  12. Why do third-party titles make more of a profit for the platform holder.

That doesn't make sense to me.

  13. do you think the PS3/Xbox average $5 a game sale average for every game sold.

i mean this includes all the games boxed in with the system and the games that sold while not costing $50.

  14. because sony doesn't pay to make the game?

  15. Im pretty sure Mario Galaxy, Zelda:TP, and Metroid Prime 3 were rather high budget games, but overall you are probably right. But the games can be made cheaper mainly because they dont have to render in 1080i or HD in general. That saves a lot of money on manpower and art assets.

  16. Man, Rock Band 2 having access to all of Rock Band 1's tracks is pretty sick. I like how they differentiate them with a little 1 or 2 logo in the list, and how DLC works in both games.

Rock Band is definitely a great platform. I'll probably buy Rock Band 3 + drums next year if the drums improve even more over this year, and just reuse the rest of my Rock Band 1 stuff and the GH3 guitar.

The only problem I have with music games in general is when I don't know the song. I'm going to find the Rock Band 1 & 2 soundtracks and listen to them casually until I am familiar with them, so I won't suck at singing them.

  20. Meh, it's a bit awkward, but compared to previous Tomb Raiders its like fighting perfection.

Kicking tigers in the face and having them plunge off cliffs is worth at least 50$ alone, and it looks lovely.

I'm not a Tomb Raider fan but this one is really very, very good.

For Microsoft it has to be the RROD stuff, the replacement costs. labour etc. must be in the billions.

For Sony, components aren't coming down in price enough and yes development costs to create a Halo or COD are probably very large.

  22. How are the likes of Activision-Blizzard (who practically print their own money w/ Warcraft and Guitar Hero) and EA losing so much money??

  23. I'm starting F3 from the beginning for the 2nd time, this is going to take forever

  24. F3?

  25. Fallout
