On Top Gear, the host, in a Lancer evo. IX, raced against a Lambourghini driven by a proffesional racecar driver. He was tailing the Lambo so tightly around the corners, that it's [the Lambo's] driver panicked, and spun out.

I dont think the Lambo's driver, who was a touring car racer "panicked" either, I think he was just pushing really hard.
"Tyres were stone cold just tapped the brakes on the corner and it totally lost it. needless to say i will not be buying another gtr." (At 140 in a 60 zone w/ prospective buyers) What a tool.
INSANE! now i feel sorry for that car <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
A nice car! should get a decent car body from japan to repair it! I want to overhaul a BNR32 in Sydney
Noob question, but did it have ABS? Also in road conditions (constant traffic lights, inevitable jams) those tyres would take some time to heat up.
I don't know about ABS, it definately has it stock but he may have disabled it (its simply a matter of removing a fuse on an R32). All of the people on skyline forums were saying "they knew that car was gonna kill someone oneday" which it didn't luckily, but apparently he had a pretty hardcore setup.
OH, sure, none of them can handle.. not even those stupid Mitsubishis they put in a few rally events nobody's heard of!
