Got 2 of my pieces framed

1. Let me know what you think (of the framing choice and of course the work itself)! A friend and I (who both work at the same framing shop) picked it all out. The bottle is done in a 'float frame', which is two piece's of glass sandwiching the image together. I think it will be interesting to see what you guys think of framing, as opposed to just the artwork.

Just to recap, the character for those of you who are unfamiliar is Venom from the Spiderman series. I replicated the image from a comic cover penned by Todd Mcfarlane, so I do not take credit for it, as it is just a cover piece.

The bottle on the other hand is 100% original, and is actually cut to the shape of it, which is why it could not be framed like a normal image.

Edit: sorry abotu the not so great pic quality, and yes I realise the bottle isn't exactly symetrical lol
2. I don't really get the bottle, however the framing is pretty cool and original. And I like how you did the lighting

The Venom drawing is great! And the black/grey, red/white looks really good.
3. Thanks for the feedback! The bottle is probabaly the most simple piece I've done yet at the same time the one with the most personal meaning to me. As you might guess, I am not a fan of drinking.

Glad you like the Venom! The grey mat took forever to choose, but I think it turned out great.
4. the venom framing is perfect.

I got 2 of my pieces framed as well.

I'm getting something else framed (but isn't art...)
5. thanks man, you should post your stuff up
6. haha, my stuff was done, hmm 8 years ago. lol i haven't done anything recent as concerning drawing.
