  2. Re: how many?

I might not be no silvia expert but the picture shown is a s14 look carefully. if you even check may 2002 issue of sport compact car youll see that this car is a s14. The s13 (1st gen.) is that ugly square one that was befoe this one which is the first body style to make it to the USS under the name 240sx because it has the KA24E from thier oick up truck, and came in three configurations a fastback, coupe and convertible. The one that the 270R is based on is the s14 it clearly stated that at the top below the picture is a S14 chassis which came stateside 94 - 97.
the 270r cannot be had in the US unles you buy a sr20det an do the swap then get either HKS or NISMO or Greddy, to hook you up with some biggerintercoolers and turbos and such. then do the suuspension and body kits to your taste

  3. Re: how many?

"This 94 270R is a US 94 240sx, in japan they call it S14. S14 range from 94-96. The 97-98 240sx is different, in japan its has a different name, known as MCS14 [Minor Changes S14].
Onevia is correct its a S13 shown in the pics..the other one is a 240sx FASTBACK aka 180sx. A 99-current 240sx does not exsist..since 240sx is in US..but it does exist else where by the name of S15. NOW talkin about Sil-Eight, a Sil-Eighty is a S15[Sil]+180sx[Eighty]= Sil-Eighty. In other words, 240sx FASTBACK with a front light conversion of a S15. JDMRaceR is also correct about the SR20DET"

SilEighty, a Sileighty doesn't have to be an S15! The majority of them are S13's that have had front cuts put on them. Easy modification as the floorplan of the PS13 and RS13 from the years 1989 through to 1993 are identical. I'm just not to sure if the structual integrity would be suffice.

  4. A little surprised...

Im kinda surprised nobodies dissed this car yet...andi intend to keep itthat way, cuz silvias kick ass. So nobody go dissing it. <!-- Signature -->

  5. where can i get one?

#$%# car manufacturers and there piss ant hick ways of "exclusivity". why can't they make more than the double digits of their best cars??? what about normal people who wanna drive these beasts? these cars are made for the schmucks who work in the offices of nissan i bet. i haven't seen one on the streets yet. this shit #$%#s me off!

  6. Re: where can i get one?

You don't see this on Any Street, unless you live in Japan of course. And don't say there are 240SX's all over America, because I know that. This is a Silvia (Japanese Version) Tuned by Nismo for Japan only.<!-- Signature -->

  7. DRIFT Forum

im just bored and this car is one of the best drift cars...so i felt like starting a forum for drifters where we can just talk bout drifting....

  8. Re: DRIFT Forum

hey what do you kno about drifting? this car is alright in drifts, the best cars are FD, FC, 86 and LanEvos<!-- Signature -->

  9. Re: DRIFT Forum

i know that drifting is more fun than going fast in a straight line...the silvia is one of the best drift cars in japan...they are pretty popular cuz they are not that expensive and have a good amount of power...the FD and FC are good drift cars too cuz they can rev pretty high and you could pump a good amount of power from the rotary; the thing about rotarys i dont like is that they guzzle gas, but all in all the Rx7s are good drift cars...the ae86 is really good drifter, i wanted one but its hard to find the hatch version that i like...i dont know that the evos are good for drifting, maybe in dirt like rally racing, but i know that the evos are good for gripping...in japan some people drift with the subaru wrx's, they just take out something or convert something in the differential to make it rear-wheel drive only....

    aite stay sideways

  10. Re: DRIFT Forum

Yes, one of the best cars for drifting is the 240SX over here, or the S14-S15 Silvia over seas. Another is the Supra, though it has a heavy tail, and can be difficult to control when in a major powerslide. Really the most popular drifting cars in Japan, are the old School Rear Wheel drive Skylines, like the R32 non-GT-R. 300ZX are ok but the rear wheel steering doesn't help when your trying to get the car to slide.
    Peace.<!-- Signature -->

  11. Re: DRIFT Forum

I agree. This month's Sportcompact Car issue actually has two articles on Sylvias and how well they drift. Check em out in the magazine racks.<!-- Signature -->

ok if your from austraila i can understand that the 200sx over there is a 240sx here in the states and the silvia in japan...but i dont get what your saying...a silvia back with a 180sx front...that dont even look like a "onevia"...that looks more like a 95-96 s14 to me

  17. Re: Amazing car

This is a real Nismo based on a S14 Silvia.
The car was made for the japanese market to beat the Mitsubishi FTO,
but the car was only made in limited production of 50 so it was no real opponent.
This car is now very expesive because of it's exclusivity.
The car can do 50000 dollars with ease.
