well it certainly looks better than other similar designs we have seen from Bertone and Saab, by the way did you know that Giorgio Giugiaro himself penned this car??

OK, from the side, it does lack, it is just a copy of one of the old 70's and 80's Porsches, but if you saw this on the road you wouldn't take your eyes away from it, it's a head turner, it's gorgeous, it's fast, it is a Supercar

I agree, the car has a great engine and great looks to go with it. It's certainly more of a 'looker' than previous Italdesign efforts i.e. the Schigera.
I know I have complained about this before, but this week's update is another poor one. I'm not lacking culture but I prefer to see updates with present or at least recent cars.

"bout time alfa made an engine with balls" what do u mean?
Alfa has always had engines with balls, just take a look at the V6 from the 156 GTA, thats a masterpiece.

And this car looks great!

9. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

Amazing look, a MASTERPIECE.
And the engine is probably good too, but I'll have to see some torque figures before I decide anything.

10. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

The engine is good so does the look. At least I like it.

11. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

What r u slow? It looks stunning.... Remember that Italian car makers dont make cars that looks like other cars...its just not done thats why they make unique cars.

Einde van storie

12. They made a nice V8 engine with 400bhp and put in in an unatractive body WHY???

13. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

The body doesnt look bad.

14. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

great engine yeah..this car has been tipped to do a 0=60 around 3.9/4.0 seconds...stats from AUTOCAR..the giugario family uses it for their holiday outings..(giugario owns alfa)..i guess that speaks well enough for thedesign..it aint pinifarina style, but hey man its just about the sexiest car on the planet..plus its got the same italian flair that most ferraris have..very bold i guess

15. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

where did you get those facts from?
Giugiaro doesn't own Alfa,
Alfa is part of the Fiat group, and I don't think this car (like most concepts) is fully streetable... do you have any idea on how much this masterpiece cost? I bet it's not less than US$1 million.

Not pininfarina style... agree, its italdesign after all, and hey did you know its italian too? and that Giugiario's company has a long tradition in making bold, amazing cars. - Aston Martin 20/20 anyone?

16. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

Uasualy i hate concepts, but i like the styling on this one
and love alfas

17. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

How could you make this car look better?

18. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

It looks similar to the bugatti 16/4 Veryon.

19. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

And the rear ain't that bad. It grows in you.
This is awesomeness sayin "I'ma kick your assss!"

20. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

word.

21. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

i dont think its that great. its different which is good but not the most beautiful car

22. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

nice power from a N/A V8

23. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

I personally think this is one of the best designs of 2003(or was it o2?)..I just thikn it looks awesome!!!And its to bad Alfa never put it out.

24. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

i personnally LOOOOVe this car and I wished they put it out.

25. Re: Great Engine Not so Great looks!!

Yea it does have a nice engine with the 400hp but other than the front end it looks horrible. It is horribly long and having the hatch look is not good on this car. Having a long plain hatchback looking car isnt a good idea.
