Haha, another Phaeton huh?!

    yeah, i know, it should have been reserved for Cadillac if they ever decided to bring back the V12 or V16, the VW is just not worthy of such a prestigous name IMO<!-- Signature -->

    Phaeton is a body style, not a name. The car pictured is a Dual Cowl Phaeton. This means it is an open four door sedan with two cockpits and two windshields. The actual name 'Phaeton' can be derived from Greek mythology. Ironically, the Phaeton was the sun chariot that was stolen and inadvertenly driven to destruction. Who decided to name a car after that has puzzled me for years.
