    quite excellent collection! The Mercedes-Benz seems to be from the Pontoon era, not sure wich type though..

    Cool stuff!

    I saw a little documentary on tv yesterday about truck drivers driving offroad to Siberia. One of them said he missed Stalin, because if he'd still be alive the roads would be in better shape. If a road worker didn't do a good job, the whole group would be executed.

    Thats a hilarious statement. As much awful and absurd shit Stalin actually did, a lot of the stories they say about him were fabricated to scare people. He became the boogie man for dissenters.

    assume he is talking about the one behind.

    it's not a ponton, it's at least a decade older. looks like a W142 to me but iirc there were 4 different types of cabriolet based on permutations of numbers of seats and doors.

    EDIT: not personally interested in much made before the 50s.
