  1. hey guys

I've been away from the foruns for a little while, but then I thougt I would come up and show you some of my artwork.

I've no particular art education, but then I just love to create my models ever since I was a little boy.

Please tell me what you think and constructive criticism would also be highly apreciated.

BTW, the first sketch is called 911 Evo, and it is somehow my vision of a luxurious coupe from porsche, and thats why its design is so close to that of the CTG.

The second one is my view of a coupe for Citroen's C4 but then, they already came up with that ugly 3 doors version.

    Just take a look. =)

  2. Cool. Good pics.

  3. The citroen one looks pretty cool

BTW only criticism is wheels... but thats no biggie

  4. very nice drawings. the citroen is very good.

  5. too "dirty" looking, if you know what i mean...but they're good designs. the citroen is the best IMO

  6. yeh a little smudged...pencil is a messy thing to work with
markers are really great though, they capture strong reflective and shadow values

mixing markers with colored pencils is great too

pencil is a super good foundation to really try some crazy stuff

  13. nice design ideas but not neat enough imo. good job though

  14. Might as well post mine, I no it sucks....Im only 15 <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  15. if you want to finalize your drawing you could make the outer lines thicker,
lines that are far away should be drawn with less thick lines...
dont use too much black on the spoiler and the windows, it makes people focus on them and thats not what you want...

also make use of a dark spot beneath the car -> the shadow
if a part of the car has curves make sure too make some parts of dark where there's less light...
i'll post some of my 'creations' tomorrow

  16. It don't suck. It is fairly good. It needs just little finishing

  18. Some awesome work here. I know how to draw cars, but I have never been able to color them in, with all the right reflections off the bodywork etc...

Can someone help me out here? And also, which markers are best to use for this?

  19. I'm sorry for the quality of the pics... i'll post the bigger sizes.. these ones are adpated to my portfolio...

You please visit the portfolio instead, the quality is much better there...

    Sorry pInin... i don't use markers... just pencil and a black marker <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A> I'm thinking about colouring too though... =)
