Spied: Henessey Venom GT regarding the SSC Aero, they just hired Jason Castriota, the guy who designed the Bertone Mantide, so the next Aero is not likely to be a boring car. It should really be quite interesting, if not for everyones tastes.
Spied: Henessey Venom GT as for this car, its sort of a next gen Lotus GT1, and thats completely fine by me.
Spied: Henessey Venom GT oh it uses an lsx.. gay <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
Spied: Henessey Venom GT I'm sure it's gonna be insanely fast, but a frankenstein Elise with an LS9 just doesn't excite me really...
Spied: Henessey Venom GT i was also pretty impressed by how well sorted the frame and such looked on this car.
Spied: Henessey Venom GT At first glance, it reminds me of a Porsche Carrera GT. Looks really nice. Any car looks good in all black, imo. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
Spied: Henessey Venom GT It looks too long. Maybe they should've used a shorter V8. Is 725 hp really necessary? I'd rather see a street version of the Sport Exige.
Spied: Henessey Venom GT wtf is with you pansies and the "too much power" shit.....the gas pedal is not an on/off switch, you can use as much power as you choose, it does not hurt you to have extra on tap if you want it.
Spied: Henessey Venom GT "It will never have enough power until I can spin the wheels at the end of the straightaway in high gear."
Spied: Henessey Venom GT I believe 725hp or more is really necessary for a car like this. They don't have racing heritage of some car makers, and not everyone have the same talent as Pagani to build a car with impeccable quality and finish, so they need give their car a ton of power to make it stand out, and there are people who are looking for cars that have exceptionally high power output and top speed. I mean just look at the Koenigsegg. It doesn't have the pedigree of Ferrari and Porsche, nor does it have the build quality and wild styling of Pagani Zonda. The only things that makes it stand out are the unique doors and the 4 digit power output. By the way, I really think this is an very awesome looking car. The most exciting American car since the Ford GT and Saleen S7 TT. Can't wait to see some road tests.
Spied: Henessey Venom GT If theyre going big, they might as well go huge. I mean the exige can already be tuned to over 500hp if truly desired. Im surprised it doesnt actually have 1000HP as they initially claimed it would. [reading up now I see that 1000hp will be available as an option, as will 1200] Its not really all that long, its shorter than an enzo by over a foot, and its approximately the same width. It just looks retarded because the cabin has not been widened... I can't imagine it would be a simple task but for a car that commands a price tag of more than half a million, you'd think they'd put in the effort...
Spied: Henessey Venom GT Why would the cabin have to be wider? It doesn't look retarded, it looks great like this.
Spied: Henessey Venom GT +1 <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A>
