Hey Bill...

  1. Bill!

I need your help! I have a massive independent reasearch project on any topic I wish, and I have chosen the Saleen S7. I need at least 2 book sources, so if you can point out 2 books with any information on the S7 at all, that would help. Also, sorry to put pressure on you, I need tons of information. Information on the ground effects and downforce production, the maximum engine power, the emission regulations, the aftermarket intercoolers, the turbos themselves, any info at all on the 850 and 1035 aftermarket kits. What parts are sourced and non-sourced, the tires, etc.. Any and all information you could give me would be of immense help. Even stuff like the body structure, the frame, and how you guys came up with the S7. If you can help, I would really aprecciate it.

By the way, what year and horsepower is your S7?

  3. Bill!

can u use magazines as sources? cause i doubt there are many books with the S7 in it

  4. Bill!

I knew there couldnt be many books with the S7 in it. So that's why I asked Bill if he knew of any. I need at least 6 sources, but 2 HAVE to be books. The others can be anything at all.

  5. Bill!

will your teacher check all the sources? when im required to do that but have all the info i need, i just make up sources that sound believable. Or find any book that pertains to cars and use that as a source, even if it doesnt have the S7 in it. If all else fails, u can say u looked into them to see what a transmission is or what a valve does

  6. Bill!

Alas, my teacher will check. He is 62, and still runs marathons regularly, looks 35 at the oldest. Went to a military academty for high school. Absolute classic car fanatic. As in cars from his adolescence. He owns at least 7 near mint condition cars from that era, and maintains and restores them himself. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered Bill. And it is a minimum of 6 pages 12 point font front and back single spaced. THAT'S why I bothered to bother Bill.

  7. Bill!

hmmm, like i said, u can use info from books that have nothing to do with the S7 and say you needed it for different info

  8. Bill!

I will find some titles that the car is in, what kind of books does he want to see used? There is an history of the S7 book being written a this time, however I am not sure of the publication date. If you PM me a list of questions I will answer them for you, and my R&D car is an 06, it always has to be up to date as it is our main test platform

  9. Bill!

    Awesome. What color?

  10. Bill!

Bill, can you answer my PM? I kind of need time to write my report.

Check out the automobile photo gallery. I think I like Bernoulli orange even more than Lizstick Red.

SAR, can we get some picks soon? And when is the book with the history of the S7 being published? I want to buy it.

Hey BIll, saw you on a video

Hey Bill, I saw you on a video titled "The fastest and most expensive cars". In it you were describing the design and aerodynamics of the 2001-2004 Saleen S7.

Firstly, isn't your name Bill Gally (as it said in the video) instead of Bill Tally?

Also, here is a link to the video: http://www.dpccars.com/car-movies/03-30-06pageFastestandmostexpensivecars.htm
Very long video, but if you go to about the 30 minute mark, you will see Steve Saleen and Bill.
