Just reminding you that this car is a concept and will ford has said it will never be produced

  2. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

The TS50 was called the Best Australian made performance sedan EVER (or something along those lines), and the GT will be even better than that.

    Seriously, you are a moron.

  3. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

  5. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

    Don't worry, he is just a typical Holden fan <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

    Some have brains.... some

  7. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

True, it isn't nice to generalise that much. It seems that most are dumb asses here though. One exception is Holden Nut though, he knows his stuff.

  8. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

    Get out of this forum!

  9. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

yeah well i didn't want to name him in that cos i didn't want to leave out the holden fans on here that actually do know sumthing about cars, i suppose it's only a few, but soem really don't know much.... like what's a VR kinda stuff <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/confused.gif"></A> and they call themselves holden fans.

my uncle with his V6 VT berlina believe he can beat any ford in a straight line.... he has an auto too

  10. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

Holden lovers believe with all their heart that their VL Common-whore can beat a Mclaren F1 just with minor mods and loud exhaust note.

  11. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

I probably left out one or two. Doesn't matter, they know who they are <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  12. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

    I think not.

  13. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

I think the VT V6 has the worst power to weight ratios in the recent commodore range.

  14. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

Hey, you holden nut. GET LOST. You think you can beat the Falcon 300. Shut up. Ever heard of weight loss? The GTS 300 weighs like two tons.
Hey and dont forget the FPV GT-P.
    Power: 320 kw
    Torque: 550 Nm
    1/4 Mile: 12.9 secs.

  15. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

    i think you're no guru

  16. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

I just pissed my pants laughing at this "Guru's" post.

  17. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

actually there's a few. a lot of ford fans think that the BA is an entirely new car, but it's a more defined AU, with the back lights cut sorta, the middle of the rook has ben lowered to square it off, the back and front has been raisied a bit to square it off, the headlights have been squared off. The change is more on the inside, interior engine etc. But a lto of people fail to see jsut really how similar it is exterior wise to an AU. and those backlights are more AU than VX

  18. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

Mechancially the BA is one of the most revised and differentiated model upgrade on any Falcon to date. Exterior wise, the only thing retained on the sedans is the doors and I think the C-pillar. Sure visually the BA rear lights are a sort of "cut off" AU tail lights, but the whole car visually is so much different. Otherwise, poeple like my die hard Holden mate wouldnt say stuff like "it's gone from the Worst looking falcon to the best looking falcon".

  19. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

on the barra ad it sez "4 new performance engines"
are they new or just old ones that have been fuct with?

also i heard that the boss engine is out of the explorer and they were considering the 4.6 stang engine at one stage?

also is it true that new gt's have engines designed to accomodate a supercharger? please say yes

    and and an a.....

    ahhhh crap i forgot

  20. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

well the 4.0 litre six, and the 4.0 litre turbo 6 are new so's the boss 260, and the 220kW V8 SOHC

  21. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

The Boss engine has the same basic block as the F-Series trucks from the US I think.

Yes they were considering the 4.6 at one stage

I think it would be VERY hard to fit a Supercharger under the bonnet of the DOHC V8

  22. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

isn't the aec version of this the 4.6 supercharged motor.... btw supposebly only 0 - 100 in 5.4 seconds and 360kW 660Nm (claimed)

  23. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

Yeah thats weird. Doesnt say much for the car if its true!

  24. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

I think it was nz autocar that said it would, and that it would put it up to 400kw.....

anyway they also did a comparison with the xr6t and the vy ss, they picked the xr6t as overall better car, but it will all come down to race day

  25. Re: Holden GTS 300 would still rip this

I think that AEC300+ is a bit sus, seems too slow for the power output <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/confused.gif"></A>
