This is so hot, I want to have one sit next to a 340R in my garage.
There's no way this thing takes 3.8 seconds to get to 60. 252 bhp and 1477 lbs... the 243 bhp Exige (weighing like 2000 lbs) does it in 3.9 seconds. I'd guess more like 3.2 to 3.5 seconds to 60.
gearing? engine response? traction
lighter cars have trouble putting power down to the road
i have trouble beliveing how fast on the get go this thing is....inline 4?...252bhp? not happenin
+200 Hp inline 4s are nothing new, not in the slightest.
This car is hawt HAWT HAAAWT. I want it.
A JGTC Supra has inline 4 engine
this is sick man, its a roofless exige with a little more power and less weight
All they have done is tweek the engine management system. The 240R Exige was only twelve BHP under the current car. Where the Lotus 11/2 improves on the Exige is removing nearlly 300 KG of weight.
For a company that is always out of money, Lotus sure knows how to come up with an ever-less-practical Elise variant every ten minutes. Lotus is the new TVR, making their cars lighter, faster, and crazier, without a care in the world for profit margins. Tally ho, lads.
The 2.0 L S2000 motor makes ~246hp.
