Re: HOT HOT HOT Yo #$%# american cars...americans make these gaz suckin machines for no shit when japan can make cars that dont suck up so much gas and that can probably whoop Vettes, Camaros and all those shitty cars...i aint sayin i be hatin Mustangs...just sayin that these cars burn a shit load of gas...Nissa Skyline is a whicked car, thaz fast and with a fair enough acceleration...and it doesn't need a engine that has more then 350hp to whoop a Mustang...even a Mistu Evo is another car that doesn't need alots hp and that doesn't suck up gaz...and with the price range of gas today...us ppl dont need cars that suck up gaz like that
Re: HOT HOT HOT Skylines kick ass. I need to be frank, though, american muscle cars (not including stangs) may suck gas, but are more affordable than an 80,000 dollar car. The only worthwhile muscle cars are HEMI'S, GM F-BODIES, and CORVETTES. mustangs consume as much gas as an LS1 and mustangs have less ci. Ls1 is the best!!!(better than 4.6/5.0/5.4)
Re: HOT HOT HOT SUPRAS KICK THE HELL ALL ASSES !!! WHAT IS A MUSTANG DONT YOU SHAY GUYS !! IVE BEEN SO BOARD FOR KICKING MUSTANG ASSES IN THE STREET OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF it really cheap car on the car's sound is nice ,,!
Re: HOT HOT HOT Using riceboy logic.................... Lets compare the Corvette to the S2000. A 5.7 liter engine to the 2.0L of the S2000. Zo6 get 19/28 EPA, while the s2000 gets 20/28. Using the same fuzzy math that rice boyz use, if chevy put the same technology they use in a vet into a 2.0L engine it would get around 54/80 miles a gallon while still getting 140 hp and getting 140 lbs of torque. Dang chevy makes high tech fuel effiect cars, let me see a N/A rice burner do that. Didn't think so. Out of riceboy mode....................... Sweet stang, love the looks, does it have a live rear axel?
Re: HOT HOT HOT i wouldnt drive this piece of shit, it looks like ass, ppl who like this car may as well stick their heads in the ground or wear blindfolds, cos i dont care how good the performance is, it LOOKS LIKE ASS and is banned from my driveway IS 300's all the way please keep it on cars, i really could care less about egg drop soup n rice burners
Re: HOT HOT HOT I know someone that has one of these with a few more mods done by a Steeda Shop. The first time I heard the car start up, I about creamed myself. This Steeda was mostly prototype parts though. He has records to show that it runs 11.5 in the 1/4. Mustangs aren't my favorite car, but with an aftermarket exhaust they have such a beautiful sound.
Re: HOT HOT HOT The Mustangs, since they were born, were not made to beat the corvettes. The Mustang is a Muscle Car not a Sport Car. Ford release the Mustang in '64. And in '66 after more than 1,000,000 Mustangs sold, GM releases the CAMARO to beat him In '68 Pontiac releases the FIREBIRD and Dodge releases the CHARGER among others ('CUDA, GTO, CHEVELLE ....). Today, Charger is past, Camaro is on the graveyard and some Mustangs are so good to compete with the vettes !!! It's not a surprise they're becoming past. Ford has built a Muscle Car wich runs like a Sport Car. The Mustangs don't need the same aerodynamics to runs like them. A Mustang don't need to win a race with a vette to be proud. He is not projected for that, but he can wins.
Re: HOT HOT HOT For those who probably don't know... The aerodynamics of a sport car will allways be better than the "aerodynamics" of a muscle car (if they had one). In the same way, the arerodynamic of an indy car will allways be better than the aerodynamic of a sport car. The Muscle Cars had nothing to do with arerodynamics. They must look as a "strong" as they can, and not like an aerodynamic project. The vettes are sport cars. And the camaros and firebirds had changed their design through the years to look as sport cars too. But you must know that Muscle Cars normally runs better on normal city streets than the sport cars. If you put a Mustang FR500 and a Vette on Indy 500 (without modifications), the vette had many chances to win. Due the AERODYNAMIC and the WEIGHT of the car. In the same way if you put a normal Indy Car and a normal Vette on Indy 500 (without modifications), the Vette will surely loose. Due the AERODYNAMIC and the WEIGHT of the car. But what are Muscle cars made for ? They're made to run on city streets. On the streets of many citys throught America the Muscle Cars wins. There are diferent cars for diferent types of "tracks". There are cars to race rallies, off-roads tracks and cars to race on city streets. The idea of a muscle car like the a mustang is to be a "normal" city car with a big motor, customized by their owner, whenever they want, to be as good as the so-called sport cars and, ilegally or not, to win races... on city streets. Talking about aerodynamics and motors, Ford knows what to do if they want. The best American Sport Car in the world was the Ford GT40. If you think in engines only, the motors of Ford had proven through the years to be better than Chevys, SORRY. Ford engines had won 13 championships on formula 1 and chevy had won 0 (zero). After Ford enter formula 1 (1968), the so-called ferrari had won only 5 championships. Even if you count all the formula 1 championships ferrari wons in all his life (after and before Ford) their motors had won 10 times against 13 of Ford. Chevys wons zero. Ford is too the only American Company wich won on Le Mans. And they do it 4 times, all against the ferraris, all with the GT40. GM NEVER wons a Le Mans race. This is to show that Ford knows what means aerodynamics. The GT40 is the answer. It's a sport car. But Ford also knows what's a muscle car. The Mustang is the answer. You can buy a Mustang and starting upgrading him to be the best. Of course this is only for people who want to built his own car, people who want to know how the engine works, people who love Muscle Cars. People who want a Muscle Car. Ford has a lot of wins in US and in Europe. GM is good only in America as Ferrari is good only in Europe. Ford is THE only company in the world to beat them both... And this is history, you can't change that.

Nicley dusted. cool
Re: HOT HOT HOT

Quote from vettenut4life I agree with Vetteman69. Vette's are better. We can compare your beloved 2001 mustang to a 2000 Lingenfelter Vette. The Vette clearly beats the mustang. The Vette was even produced a year earlier and you would think that the mustang would be better? Ford may have produced the first cars, but Chevy produces better cars. GM has always been better than ford.

First of all the vette wasn't produced 1 year earlier it was 11 years earlier. And learn your automotive history when the mustang was produced it was not intended to compete with the vette, it was the first in its class providing practicality, horsepower, and beautiful looks for under $2,000. And chevy never has been better read lido's quote. his facts are right but I want to add one thing, chevy has totaly embarrased themselves in every form of motorsport they have ever attempted (except for the corvette class win at lemans last year and they only did the because of better durability than the saleens) and dont give me this nascar shit because we all know that those cars are governed so tightly that they are essentially the same thing. And comparing the lingenfelter vette to the steeda is alright but dont go complaining when I compare it to the boss mustang.
Re: HOT HOT HOT This car is so disappointing. I expected even Steeda to do some good for Ford.

FORD sucks again! i'm just going to go back to the 2001 vette z06, which i'm sure is in this cars price range, if not less, which runs a 12.6 and gets WAY better gas mileage. what can you do, the vette is still better. when will you people learn.

I wouldn't be so proud of the vette, I've cn one get smoked by a 2 ton truck called, The F-150 Lightning, and guess what. Re: HOT HOT HOT NOT NOT NOT!!!!! NOt hot because,Imports RULE! SPARETIRE"Hi i'm head of IDIOT SHRINE any one wanna join?"
Re: HOT HOT HOT True, In 1966 the 1 000 000th Mustang rolled off the line, in 1994 (give or take a year, I'm unsure) the 1 000 000th Corvette rolled off the line.
Re: HOT HOT HOT you would take an IS 300 over the classic and legendary Musclecar known as the Mustang? how could you!? oh wait, you are a newbie who can't appreciate powerful and classic cars such as the Mustang.. you do know that this Mustang would waste your little underperforming IS300 and leave it in it's tiresmoke...the IS300 is for the not-rod poser tuner crowd while REAL cars such as this Mustang are for the rest of us who whoop ass and laugh at little coffee can not-rods like the IS300 and the endless amount of Fast and Furious ripoffs...(all cept for the Charger in that movie, I know that would lay waste to every tuner 4 cylinder car in that movie, whether they have NOS or not..) death to NOS tuner 4 bangers!!! you can't beat cubes!!!
Re: HOT HOT HOT Mustang GTs run about 22 grand... Now figure on spending 50 grand on a Z06, taking that 28 thousand dollar difference and making a car that whips the crap out of a Z06... I know the Camaro and my beloved Firebird are dead. The Mustang is all us ponycar lovers have left.
Re: HOT HOT HOT The reason people buy a mustang instead of a corvette is because of that 28 grand your talking about thats in between them. Good thought though!
