I Designed Some Car Seats

Discussion in 'Artwork - Photoshops and Sketches' started by FerrariKing, Aug 15, 2007.

  1. Was busy drawing at work cos i wasnt too busy, and drew some car seats.... so decided to put it into 3d.... what you think...

  2. quality is good, but the design is meh.

  3. A little to funky for me, but that's some cool 3D work.

  4. Design sucks, 3D is ok for beginning.

Try to "design" a seat and not be concern about final image quality, you have to bring to product the quality and not the image itself, if you know what I mean.

  5. Looks like some sort of Ferrari seats.

  6. They look just like the ones in the SLR Silver Arrow Concept from several years ago.

  7. I like them. You all are haters.

  14. where's the lower back support... i can't see those being comfortable! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  15. I can see them working with a specific type of car design, but they need some more refining too. But they're a good starting point.

  16. could work if they were tilted a bit..

    btw black-blue is good <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  17. thanks guys... i know they wouldnt have the best support, but they would be for a top end supercar, and most likely be more layed back, theres also nothing stopping the padding being thicker...

  18. Bucket seats aren't designed for comfort or long distance driving, so they don't have lumbars.

  20. they look a bit busy but if you made the pads a little larger they'd look awesome.
