I don't think they realize how crucial this car could be.

  1. This would TOTALLY change the image of Cadillac if they made. If they don't, however, they will be remembered as the company that had a chance to do something cool, but didn't take it. Just think about Dodge for a second. Do you realize what would have happened if they wouldn't have built the Viper? Perhaps they would now be where Oldsmobile is sitting. Cadillac needs this car to survive in the future. Besides, it would fit perfectly with their Le Mans effort.<!-- Signature -->

This car in my oppinion is a cadilac viper, you guys think it could take it? Because it would be standard with 750 bhp, so answer that please.
Other wise I agree with you and I like it alot.

Take on the Viper? Just take this as the mongose man if you wanna compare this to that piece of shit.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but what about you on 0-60time and how if you could work on a viper and work on a cien what is the better out come? The venom is the fastest car around with alot of help with slicks and all, so I'm just trying to get some oppinions.

They should make it have less HP. And then offer htis as a high end model. Say 450 or 500 hp for the base. Then give this this much. Although unless it make sit at really high rpms it would be hard to handle. Thats the beauty of european cars... And their downfall. They make huge hp at the high end, which makes them fast and kick ass for every day. The f-50 si still manageable to a decent driver because it isn't pumping out 500 ft/lbs or TQ at 2k rpms. But if you want it its there. Im affraid that this thing since it is such larger displacement would be unhandleable to the average driver. 500 hp on the other hand is more manageable. OR they could make this AWD to amke it more managable.<!-- Signature -->

I disagree that the venom is the fastest car around. The Dodge Venom is nothing more then a third rank sportscar. The McLaran F1 and the TVR Speed 12 are the fastest to date. America can never make a car capable of competing with the rest of the world of "SUPERCARS" not Sportscars. What the Venoms Top Speed is around 200mph, MCLaran F1 and TVR Speed 12 Maxing out 235+mph. These are Supercars look at the pictures.

Actually, the very site you're logged onto says the Venom 800's top speed is 235 mph...<!-- Signature -->

Also the Saleen S7 has the potential to go toe to toe with the european punks any time any where. Plus it has bigblock power<IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"> How ever i think the crouts and guidos would still amke better cars. The Germans are just better engineers. Always have been always will be. We americans are to intent upon cheap low quality with big engines. The germans are sued to making 4 cyls and v6s but when they make a v12 it kicks some serious ass. Thats why when japan finally starts making v8 sports cars in mass thye will smoke americans and be right there nipping at the heels of the Europeans(if not surpassing them).<!-- Signature -->

1:i think exer is a moron
2: this car is awesome, and brings american motorsports into a whole new realm. i mean, i cant think of another american v12. my only dissappointment in the Cien is the last of torque.. yes, its still a lot of torque, but not when compared to the size of the engine or the amount of HP it has. thats probably how they got it to have such low emmissions and all that other bull. its still an american supercar, and american power will always be number 1 in my book.

I'm personally fed up with all the comments mentioning the Mclaren F1 as the epitome of all supercars. I've read so many different threads where somebody brings up the Mclaren and boasts about how no other car can compare to it. I respect the car; it truly is a beautiful piece of machinery, but enough already. Lets shine light on some other cars.

That being aside, I like the Cien its really wild, if only GM would produce it…

SupraGT800HP sorry for quoting you, I just had to use an example.

Hey..the McLaren is a kick ass car and probs the hall mark of street legal cars..but that price tag..AIYA!!

I think the Cien will seriously kick alot of ass =)
It has low torque..but I read it kicks in @ 1800rpms.
