I just ran about 1000 meters

  5. That's the way I should think. I am pretty sure my dad died of a heart attack (car accident, but we'll never know). But regardless, I am pretty lazy these days and I eat tons of crap and don't take care of myself really. I had decent metabolism, but it has significantly slowed down in my mid 20s.
  6. It'll suck for a couple days after, but when you've been doing it for more than a week it starts feeling pretty good after a workout.

  8. Indeed. My dad got lucky that they caught it early. He was getting back into shape and he noticed that on a long 7-day bike ride that his chest was hurting more than it should. They found the blockages before the heart attack, all because he was exercising enough to exert himself before a bad event happened. That really sobered him/me up. Just start by walking for an hour every night, then mix in some jogging, then just jog. If you start now, you'll be better than ever in a couple months (in time for summer).

  12. 6'3" 200 pounds, They were taller but like 150 pounds so all I could do was post them up and push them around. They still shot it in my face every time I gave them a little space. I felt old and slow ;_;

    I about died in the 1000 yard run. I guess I need to slow down a bit.

  15. I'm pretty fast on the open floor but I need to lose 15-20 pounds so I can get my lateral speed back.
  16. I did a bunch of 500s at like 1:38 the other day and was pretty beat up. I feel like a gross slob.
  17. Thats not that bad unless you took really long rest intervals.

  19. Rode the bike for +30 minutes today. Tomorrow I will be doing running or elliptical, depending on my calves and how they feel.
  20. Yeah, my intervals were pretty long. Like 5 minutes long.

  22. If you couldn't finish it, you're going at a good pace. Next time you should be able to finish it about 10 steps before you fall over dead.

  24. if you're not in shape I'd recommend doing what I'm doing first and struggling to move out of my chair
  25. I got around this problem by using a broken chair that tries to make me fall out of it every chance it gets.
