i was wondering if the rx-7 was comming back out

    i have heard rumors that maxda was bringing back the rx-7 depending on the sales of the rx-8. Does anybody know if this is true and when the car will be available for sale.

    There is official reports that the RX-8 chassis WILL be used for the future RX-7 and also for the next generation Miata (MX-5)

    The news about the rx-7 coming back out is actually only speculation right now, thought chances do look good. Don't expect it to be the same rx-7 though... Being based on this chassis you can expect a similar look with slightly more aggressive styling. We'll probably see an rx-8 sport (Turbos, two door, etc...) before we see another rx-7.
