That logic is basically asking for anarchy. No crap many of our immigration laws currently suck (some ppl called the INS the worst-run agency in the gov) but that does not mean that people can simply do whatever the hell the want.

 

Oh yeah. Really anyone Slavic should have no trouble conducting daily business without speaking a word of English in certain sectors of Chicago.

It took me like 2 years to learn english.

The system is actually pretty nuts in my house.

For the most part, I talk to my mom in English and she responds in Polish. That way, I make sure I'm not forgetting Polish and she gets practice in English. She could speak to me in English most of the time, but it's not worth it with the accent and all.

 

It took me longer than 2 years to become fluent in English... But I was a baby at the time, so it's understandable.

 

I speak to my dad in Italian, mom in Spanish, brother in Spanglish and outside in Enlgish. I keep the 3 languages sharp as knife.

 

Isnt it supposed to be tough to get into a country that has endured the most significant terrorist attack ever?

I dont see whats so strange about green cards being hard to get. I do however see the southern border being full of holes as sonething strange indeed.

How many terrorists have come up through Mexico.

Just the terrorism threat alone is justification enough to seal the border up tight with no other explanation other than national security.
