    A former colleague of mine has an 02 STi and he got sick and tire dof the torque hole in the ej20 so he dropped in a US-spec ej25 (along with 1,000,001 other bits and bobs) and now packs ~220kw (295hp) at all 4 wheels.

    Holy shit is it awesome now! It drives like a completely different car. Best part is that it looks bone stock.

    I can't stand the new STI styling, Am I the only one who thinks that if a person wants a car with 300+ horsepower and pretty much the best AWD system out there, they will also want a car that looks like it has those two things, I for one miss the last generations big mean agressive looking STIs with the giant wing and hood scoop

    Evo awd system > STi's. When the new generations of both cars are released, anybody who isn't a total Subaru fan boy would be an idiot to get the STi. Fan boys are idiots in general anyway, making anybody who buys the new STi an idiot/moran.

    i agree, its like the mustang, the tuners like rouche and saleen make it much better, it'll drive and handle just as well

    As I said, "Pretty Much" the best, the Subarus have Fulltime-Symetrical, which is the fartherest you can take an AWD system (as far as I know) but, ya, I agree the new Evo is far nicer then the STI, 'cept the STI wieghs less and has a better engine...if only it wasn't so damn ugly
