I've received authorization from the wifey to return to brap brap mobiles. Not interest in used although I saw a twin turbo G37 I nearly broke into my savings for, but I'm too busy for projects at this point in my life/career. I need something dependable and warrantied. So which would you be into??
370 is old as shit at this point. Coyote is so good. Dunno what the difference is in GT and GT Premium, so whatever.
It's a technology package that adds a few Gs to the bill. I love reversing cameras. I can't not have one anymore. I want the car to make me attractive to materialistic girls so i can shut them down and make a big farty noise on the highway when I get on and pass. So basically I love the stangs extra 100 hp and presence, but find the Zs milage and looks make it "smarter".. Not to say the mustang is the wrong kind of dumb. It's the kind of big stupid #$%# I can enjoy, but image matters.
Simple. Do you want a sports car or muscle car. Do you want loud and obnoxious that scores look at me. Or do you want a car that is super fun to drive but all the attention you'll get is thw odd hey bro, cool car
So long that it's new and whatever makes it good doesn't void the warranty. And under 40k or extremely close to that if it really brings a lot to the table that the other two don't offer. I haven't even test drove anything yet.
I'll tell you how I got to these two cars. It's a really stupid method.. I looked at sports cars available in manual transmission and either RWD or AWD and then I multiplied their HP by their combined epa mileage and divided by the weight of the car. and the mustang and Z came out ahead of most everything else. IT MADE SENSE TO ME. Yeah, I'm retarded probably.
we all have our methods. I'd also go look at the Hyundai Genesis coupe and the Camaro for shits and giggles. possibly even a dodge if you're into that sort of thing. also may want to have a go at a GT86/BRZ and put some money into playing with it. same with the Miata
Where's the factory turbo BRZ toyota/fuji?
New Focus RS is supposedly under 40g, AWD, and 345hp. Should be a fun ride if your into that kind of car. Edit: But GT. Probably outperforms the 370 in every category, including build quality. The Z is getting up in age.
370z looks pretty sharp IMO, a shame it's a dinosaur like it's big brother Godzirra. If it had 400hp and an interior that wasn't from 2002, I'd be all over that sucker over the stang. Conversely, the Stang looks the business with the right color & wheel combo, and performance wise it's not really a competition. I don't know what it is though, I just do not like the interior at all, never really have. Too much throwback nostalgia in the design language and not enough progress into something new. Although... the new Sync 3 is supposed to be leagues ahead of their old software, and probably a billion light years ahead of whatever Nissan is still throwing in between all the plastic on the Z. EDIT: Voted GT Premium. EDIT 2: Wait for Turbo Mazdaspeed Miata?
I thought they did a pretty good job on the interior. At the very least its miles ahead of the Camaro. The exterior is just gorgeous, (to me at least). Grey GT with an exhaust gets my vote.
Nissan has a knack for that (I guess infiniti also...). Just look at the GT-R, at least they decided to try with the interior for this upcoming MY
I sat on my hands cause i was given a car by my employer. now my employer wants me closeby and wants me to use my personal car. not much has changed but my budget. it's higher now. My wife's birthday is soon and I do most of my own maintenance on my 8 year old suzuki. she drives less than 1000 miles a year, so it makes sense that she get the braap braap and i drive the ol zuka until the weekend. I think if i pull this off and don't chicken out, I'm gonna surprise you guys.. but just to get one thing out of the way. I know a well aged f355 or f360 will hold it's value better than anything similarly priced without a ferrari badge. but is it just plain stupid to think you can daily a ferrari with over say.. 50000 miles?
