Is that a satelite dish on the back?

Discussion in '1998 Porsche 911 GT2 Evo' started by imnotmaranelloboy, Aug 9, 2002.

  1. Nice car, but the spoiler looks just a little... oh, what's the word... big. I've noticed that's the thing with 911's, the back slopes down so far that it's hard to put a decent looking spoiler on the back. I'd take a Porsche in a heartbeat anyway. Beautiful cars. Have a nice day.<!-- Signature -->

    well that wing looks like it is more for show, but it might help the areodynamics. Its hard to tell, usually wings are just drag.

    The spoiler makes that car look a lil dub bu overall that car is great

  8. Re: Is that a satelite dish on the back?

    I really think that the 911 Turbo spoiler style is the best. The one on the GT2 is pretty good too, though.

  13. Re: Is that a satelite dish on the back?

    I was in a rush, i meant that it makes the car look a little bit childish, and "dumb" (if possible) but it is still great and i love it

  14. Re: Is that a satelite dish on the back?

    dub = dumb
    bu = but
    lil = little

    Yeah I didn't think that you would need to have that much downforce on the rear tyres when youve got the engine in there as well, but it wouldn't be on there for show cos it looks like fully race prepped car.
