  2. I tried a 92' 500E AMG not long ago,,, 349 hp and big exhaust, amg written all over the engine <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif">. It drove like a rocket but it was raining so the antispin system was constantly flashing.

Amg 6.0 special edition "Hammer engine": 380 to 400 HP

The Hammer engine found its way to the w124 E class sedans and coupes, and are extremely rare. 0-100 kmh in around 5 seconds and top speeds over 300kmh. These cars whooped both BMW M cars and Ferraris in the eighties...with auto tranny ofcourse..

check the pics of the AMG HAMMER

I believe the hammer will beat the 500E.. sorry folks

Yah that'll difinetly blow away Bimmers and Ferraris of the 80s...may even kill some E-36 M3s and E-34 M5.<!-- Signature -->

    true true!

yes, but that's like saying a tweaked out M3 will blow away a stock one.

The AMG Hammer was $180,000 for a 186mph car that wasn't street legal in North America and could be a handful to drive.

The 500E was $81,000 for a 155mph(governed) car that was 50 state legal, could be serviced at ANY MB dealership and much less brutal to drive.
