  1. It's my first V8 car. But its faster than anything else at my school right now. I like it, the interior is a fixer-upper but thats what winter is for. Tell me what you think.

its not stock, it has the following

    FRPP Plugs
    FRPP 9mm Wires
    MSD Cap and Rotor
    Ported and Polished stock heads
    3.73 Rear Gears
    Welded frame connectors
    Full flowmaster 40 series exhaust
    BBK X Pipe
    BBK Longtube Headers
    King Cobra Clutch

    It's a 1987 Mustang LX Coupe. It has the 5.0 V8. 5 speed manual.
    No A/C no power anything, its light and fast<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

Took the pics last night, it was raining out so their not the best, but it hasn't been sunny here in Ottawa for......... months:p
  2. Fully sik m8.
  3. I paid $3500 CND. The rims and tires are huge too. they came with it. 275/40 ZR17

Does anyone at all know where I can get a new speedo? in kmph, i cant find them anywhere<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A> and 180 isn't nearly high enough for thsi thing.

    thanks a lot!

  4. Wow...the interior really is fixer upper <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

That engine bay is frighteningly messy.
  5. Yeah its pretty bad. I'm getting a new head unit on friday, and i spent all day today cleaning it up, its nice and shiney now. and the engine bay still needs a little elbow grease but it runs real smooth.
  6. Thats a #$%#in awsome car, notches are so badass
  7. Sweet ride and thoses 5.0 Stangs are bulletproof and cheap to fix. For the speedo, try calling a scrapyard, you'll find one there.
  9. Awesome ride, man. Have fun with it & don't be afraid to race a Camaro or Firebird or two!
  10. Awesome. Good go-fast car for cheap.
  11. awesome, 5.0s are sick
  12. heh, I had the fastest car at my HS too... It's a good feeling <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/cool.gif"></A>
  13. it looks like someone vomited all over the engine bay.
  14. i would strip the seats out and drop a pair of racing seats in it. much easier/much more awesome.
  15. It's just dirt thankfully. the last owner kept it outside for the whole time he owned it. it was his daily driver too.

Thankfully somehow there isn't a single spot of rust on the car AT ALL. the body is MINT, which is really the reason I got it. The interior I plan to work on over the winter but the body is in awesome shape for an almost 20 year old car.

I'm still surprized at the fact theres no rust at all. It's had 4 owners including myself, and all the other homes it had were either in southern ontario or south quebec.
  16. Yeha my friend Jordan is in the process of dropping a new 350 into his 86 trans am. should be a good race<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
  17. nice buy man <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A>
  18. Thanks a lot!
  19. Instead of all the boring GM cars you had owned, you should of kept your fox body.
  20. Better be somthing better then a stock TPI 350, cuz if your notch is in good running order its capable of high 13s.
  21. Sweetness. I like the look of the GTs better, but the LX rear bumper actually made them faster than the GTs. The GT rear bumper caught air and was like a friggin' parachute slowing down the car. I agree with phanofmuzik2 about the seats. Just rip those out and get some racing seats in there. Then it'll pull all the chix m8.

You've got a pretty sweet car, that can be made deadly fast for dirt cheap... Don't kill yourself.
  22. I must to race you.
  23. Congrats man, enjoy'er.
  24. regular LXs are also a little lighter, his is a notchback that weighs less then 3000 pounds.
  25. It definalty shows its age. But it looks like a fun fixer upper, and the fact that it has alot of potential makes it appealing. Congrats, and drive safe.
