McLaren F1 Chasis #073 Very Detailed Info

Discussion in 'European Cars' started by Orange F1LM, Sep 27, 2007.

  1. Somebody give me details about Chassis #018. I've got information that it's currently for sale within New Zealand, but last I heard there were none in NZ.

All I know is apparently #018 was originally Mid Blue Pearl, and this one' silver. But we all know how frequently they change colours.

  2. it's still titanium coloured. last time I checked it was still in Singapore

  3. #018 has an LM-spec engine and High Down Force (HDF) kit. Last seen in Singapore at the Torque Show, May'07.

Rated as one of the sexiest and best F1's out there

  4. The #1 F1 <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A>

  5. That's not Don Wallace's, I think you are thinking of Dan kennedy's - see 2nd pic below, 1st is/was Don's - Dan used to own chassis #038 before selling it to Richard Powers

  6.
  7. That would be incredible if there was one in NZ, hell youre lucky if you see a lambo over there

It looks like it's for sale then:

"The Jerry Clayton Motor Group (JCMG) is based in Singapore. Owned by prominent New Zealand Auto Industry personality, Jerry Clayton, JCMG has commercial interests including Car Exporting, European Auto Parts, Heavy Equipment Exporting, Forensic Odometer Verification, Auto Dealership Consulting and Auto-dealer Data Base Management & Customer Relationship Management (CRM)."

But it is still in Singapore.

  9. There's quite a few Lambos around, though NZ is much more of a Ferrari nation. But I saw a yellow VT the other day on the back of a truck, plus there's a guy in town that had two Diablos (silver and black) but I believe he sold one for a Murci. And there's a couple of Gallardos floating around this city too.

The car is for sale in Singapore @ Auto Manufactur. Maybe that Kiwi acts like a broker for this car...

I know of one other one in New Zealand, its Silver, standard road car with the standard wheels, i see it drive past every now and again, the guy that owns it only takes it out when it goes for its Warrant of Fitness.

    Its in Porirua, New Zealand
