Must be a fun car to drive...

  1. Looks very nimble. I wouldn't mind owning this car at all.

Very fun indeed, espicially when you redline it

  3. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

From what ive heard it definately is!

  4. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

All I know is that they are fun to ride in. Hitting VTEC feels so sweet. Even with stock exhaust, it is so loud during VTEC is is awesome. When going around corners there is very little body roll. I love this car.

I want one of these, just to go nuts on the twisty roads!

  6. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

It's fun to drive practicly any car on the twisty roads

  7. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

Not really - I wouldn't much like to drive my Grandpa's Buick LeSabre on the twisties. (oh, wait - you said practically every. Nevermind)

The s2000 is made for racing, so when you keep the revs up on a twisty road, it's in its own realm. Now, if there were only twisty roads in FL.

Buick Lesabre? Do you actually drive it? cause if you do, poor you

  9. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

I have driven one. They are very, very agile. The chassis is well sorted and lets the suspension do its job, which it does very well also. The engine sounds great and goes ballistic in the upper rev range. It purrs like a Ferrari rather than grumbling like a large displacement engine. My only complaint was it lacked torque. Overtaking isn't the best and it is smooth but lacks punch in the straight line. However, I assume ballistic straight line speed is not its intended purpose. Good car.

This a very fun car to drive. My friend owns one so I have been in it before. It awesome with the top down, and once you hit around 4500 rpm your VTEC-ing it and your off. The engine purrs so nice and its redline is so high. It handles like an F1 and its chassis is very nice. It also isnt too cramped in the driver seat.

  11. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

I'm sorry, but it does NOT handle like an F1. It may have a nice chassis, but nothing handles like an F1. Not even Le Mans racing cars.

  12. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

It's called exaggeration to get your point across....perhaps you've heard of the concept? He meant that the handling is reminiscent of that of an F1 car.

And what about the Lotus 340R? that car must come dangerously close to the handling of an F1 car.

  13. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

I meant that although it might be remiscent of an f1, i said it has nowhere near the grip level of an f1, which is the truth. And the lotus 340r has nothing to do with wat we was on about. (im pretty sure that cant come close iether)

BTW wat do you mean 'perahaps youy've heard of the concept?

  14. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

You seemed to NOT recognize the fact that he was exaggerating, you didn't need to pick apart what he said, as he didn't actually mean that it actually does handle like an F1 car, and everyone but YOU seems to have realized that. He had every right to say that, you had no right to tear into him for it.

True, the Lotus 340R has nowhere near the grip of an F1 car (about 1.8 g difference), but it may possibly have the same level of control, which is the most important part of an F1 car.

True as well that the Lotus 340R has nothing to do with what he was on about, however, it did have to do with what you were on about ("nothing handles like an F1", do you not recall saying this?).

Perhaps you've heard of Sarcasm? by "perhaps you've heard of the concept?" I was inferring that you've never heard of the concept of exaggeration before, as what he said was an obvious example of exaggeration, yet you completely ignored that, and berated him as if he'd made the comment as if it were 100% accurate.

i dont have a clue wat your on about

  16. Re: Must be a fun car to drive...

    It's quite clearly stated.

All I'm saying is that you had no right to criticize him for something you misunderstood.
