    High efficiency and fascinating dynamics

The unique characteristics of the Artega® GT provide a long-awaited enhancement to the world of sports cars. The result is a unique combination of performance, consumption, range and suitability for all sorts of journeys. The official data, produced together with the organisation TÜV Nord, certainly confirms this: the Artega GT has an impressive (dry) kerb weight of only 1,116 kg. And the power to weight ratio of 3.72 kg/PS is no less outstanding; thus the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8s. These values place the new German sports car at the top of its class. The Artega GT's fuel consumption figures are just as striking. The EU-standard consumption, pursuant to directive 93/116/EEC (new European driving cycle), is 8.9 l (Super Plus ROZ 98) per 100 km! This gives a range of 765 km or 900 km (80 l tank as optional extra).

checking all the documentation and media footage I have,
I just have learned that the V6 engine is the one of the VW Passat R36, awesome,
it weighs jusut a little more than half the weight of the Passat,
can?t wait to accelerate it from 0-100 km/h in just about 4 secs.
