My Focus Project organised races are full of old annoying arse holes and also that means my car may become unregistrable i drift on empty roads with peoople at the top and people at the bottom warning me of cars we all carry cb radios it is as safe as it can be but i drag to show who is the boss
My Focus Project God would fix my car because He cares about me on a personal level, just like He does with everybody. And it's not like He has a finite number of miracles to hand out. Fixing my car didn't screw someone out of overcoming cancer...The throw-out bearing in my clutch failed so I had it towed to a mechanic shop. They inspected the car and said it would be $2200 to replace/fix everything. I couldn't afford that so I had it towed to a different shop. They quoted me $1400 and I could just barely afford that so I agreed to the work. But over the weekend my friend Melissa decided she'd pray for my car to be miraculously fixed, and sure enough, the shop called me two days later to say they saw nothing wrong with the car
My Focus Project I don't understand this comment. If you buy a decent turbo kit for the Focus it will increase the performance including your 1/4 time. There are several supercharged options as well. Maybe if you get a random monkey to bash a homemade kit together it could hurt your performance if he is exceptionally unskilled. If you really want to put money into a Focus I would suggest spending $0 on apperance modifications. If you really want to change something about the exterior I would buy ST170 headlights and the ST170 grill. One good thing about the ZX3, ZX5, is that parts are cheap. I would buy the SVT suspension kit. This is around $280.00 and includes brand new front dampers with mounts, spring seats, sway bar and rear dampers. The SVT brake kit is available for around $940, but isn't really necessary for a street car. It's also quite a bit heavier than the stock disk/drum setup. I would get a nice short throw shifter like the Steeda Tri-Axe($149) to reduce the long throws of the Focus shifter. I would probably get something like the PowerWorks supercharger to increase performance. It's pretty safe and gives you 220HP and 170-200 lb ft of torque at the wheels. It's fairly expensive though usually around $3300. There is a a fairly conservative review of it here http://www.caranddriver.com/supercarchallenge/10165/superfour-challenge-page3.html I would probably stop there. You can spend a lot more but it probably won't be worth your while. LSD, Exhaust, Clutch..etc. If you had lots of money and wanted something way out there you could get someone to build you an engine using the WRC block. If you had the money and wanted a true monster you could do the V-8 swap. It would be a beast of a car and would be tricky to drive as there would be hardly any grip under hard acceleration. I bet it would be seriously fun/scary to drive and get a lot of weird looks. My Focus Project Focus' definalty arent shit, I love mine, even though its been kind of #$%#ing me around lately.
My Focus Project Foci are shit, why waste your time with amerikan made crap when you can buy a better car like a Honda?
My Focus Project The MK1 and MK2 focus are generally considered to be good cars for their segment. You could pick way worse cars to be a project car on a small budget. Just don't waste any money on appearance mods. "Used, inexpensive Foci are all over the place. Add the Powerworks blower, and you could have a rice beater for not a lot of scratch."
