i think i'm missing something, F1 must have at least 20 cars on the grid. so based on that even if just one team leaves F1 next year the remaining 9 teams would have to field an extra car. meaning there could be 27 cars in the field next year? do i have that straight or confused?

I'm all for more cars in F1. A field of 27/28 would be good. Talented drivers have more chance of finding a seat which is what F1 certainly needs.
