Anyways, my friends 4 cyl mystang is parked outside my house. It has a 5-speed borg warner and a 5.0 clutch. Earlier we tried to do a brakestand with 5 ppl in the car. It didnt grab and smoke came out of the clutch. This clutch was brand new last monday and its slipping. He thinks its a hose or something. We need to get out of here soon. Someone pleeeaasse help. [Sorry for the title in caps, I just need someones help fast!]
Simple, the clutch is not broken in yet. Brand new clutches and brakes are not very good until they are set. congrats, you guys wrecked the clutch. Prob the flywheel is a bit polished as well now. Could also be improper install, not enough force, but I would say that is not it if there was enough friction to smoke.

You're buddy should've gone about 3k miles or so breaking in the clutch...and since you guys all decided to do a break stand you probably need to get the flywheel resurfaced.
For what? Destroying a new clutch in an ignorant manner? Or driving a 4 cylinder Mustang when a 5.0 can be had in decent condition for 4k? <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
