The black Pegaso Z102B pictured was my dad's car back in the 50s. He purchased the car while living in France, and I still have the original specs and book for this car. As an engineering study, this car was designed by students who sought a career in automotive design. Saoutchik created the body. My father rallied this car in Europe for a few weekends and had numerous spares. When my dad visited the factory, he was offered another engine for the sum of $1500.00. This particular car had a Hallibrand rear gear end with both street and racing clusters furnished with the car. It took only and little time to swap these clusters. One other interesting item was when you pressed the clutch in, you ratchetted the oil filter screen to another position thus giving free-space to the oil strainer. These were VERY ahead their time and I am constantly surprised at how low these go for at autcion. Thanks for showing Pegaso.
