I think I'm going to pre-order Left 4 Dead on Steam. The positive impressions are so consistent that I'm sure it'll be fun.
But what's good to one person isn't always good to another. Even though most of you think they're bad games, I absolutely loved the demos for GRID, BF:BC, and TimeShift. And from what list I might be tempted to buy Baja, WipEout HD, and SCORE if I could first play the demos.
It depends. I buy games with longevity or great graphics on PC. Action games or shorter games, or ones with local coop, I'll rent or buy for 360. I just rented Dead Space for 360, because it's not out on PC yet and I want something new to kill the time until Farcry 2 and Fable 2. Dead Space is fvcking scary, I'm playing it in a room with a gigantic window and tons of sunlight, but it's getting my heart pumping.
I just rented Dead Space for 360 and I'm loving it. It's pretty awesome, Bioshock meets Resident Evil. No multiplayer though If you don't already have them, you can pick up Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4 on the cheap now used, those games have insanely huge multiplayer communities. The big slew of releases hasn't quite started yet. Gears 2 Nov.7 is probably the next big thing in multiplayer.
go make a thread lying to us, that way maybe we will think you are older than 16, and dont live with your parents.
shooters and rts's are made for the pc, anyone who buys them for consoles is retarded, unless there is a flaw with the PC version, or its unavailable for the PC. i got bioshock for PC after playing it on Xbox.
No, I just haven't successfully pulled one off. Remember, CQB and I aren't good friends.
Whoa, I didn't see this coming. Sucks that tons of people already have it. http://www.mcvuk.com/news/32067/LittleBigPlanet-delayed-in-Europe http://www.videogaming247.com/2008/10/17/confirmed-littlebigplanet-delayed-over-quran-expressions-scee-makes-statement/
i'd be disappointed not getting LBP, but i'll be getting Fable2 that day, i can wait until i move to get it, actually by then a used copy should be down near $45 bucks or so...

I'd much rather play a game on my big ass TV, with my great speakers, on my comfy couch, where I can easily chill with other people, while playing multiplayer very easily than cooped up alone in my room at my computer. I guess that's retarded.
i saw that, but in 2.5 months when i finally move into my new place, the game will be easy to find at that price, if not lower, anyway. im pretty sure its going to sell a lot, and a lot of poeple will get sick of it quickly, like every single hyped game ever (see halo) which makes the price fall faster.
yes. i like it. its original, ive met 2 people in my life with the same name, a guy and a girl, although the girls was spelled Shay.
"We learnt yesterday that there is a lyric in one of the licensed tracks which some people may find offensive, and which slipped through the usual screening processes. Obviously MM and Sony together took this very seriously. LBP should be enjoyable by all. So within 12 hours of hearing about this issue involving a lyric (in Somalian, I believe!), we prepared an automatic day 0 patch and had a new disk image ready; however a decision was made within Sony that the right thing to do for quality and support of people without internet access was to replace existing disks. They assure us that they are doing everything in their power to get things straightened out as fast as possible, and will announce dates soon." -- Media Molecule, developer of LBP
It sucks about the LBP delay. I got my copy yesterday. I wonder how much the leaked originals will be worth. Anyway, the game is enjoyable, but I can't connect to the online servers, so I have more time to unlock stuff in the game.
ouch, it is a family game though, its nice to see them replacing the disks and taking the hit, rather than just hoping they have internet to patch it. still, sucks that such a small thing ended up being the cause, i wonder what the lyric said...
