  1. no but it does have toyota reliability and the new GTO is no where near the old GTO so <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

vette ill give it credit tho <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> yet i see too many and im a man of uniquness.

  2. isn't the gto 13.5 tested in the 1/4 , while i beleive the supra was tested at 13.4?... either way its so close that it'll hae to depend on the driver. and the corvette out performs the supra out of the box.......

  3. as far as reliability you are right, those toyota engines are very bullet proof, but the ls6 is also a great motor which can and has proven to be realiable also, maybe not as much as a toyota, but enough for its purpose.

  4. Times that close depend so much on the driver its not funny. And most of the supras test 14.0

  5. looks ugly, but it will probably grow on me over time

  6. sarcasm. Learn it

  7. 14.0 flat, LoL no no the best time was 13.4 and most test around 13.7-13.8, and your saying that most other cars that test 12.2 or so test really 13.2 or a second higher, with professional drivers testing them ... heh

is 13.4 too low or something?? i can tell buy your sn that you obviously will be bias, anyways everyone knows that most cars will not test those awesome times, but to be a close to a second off the driver must suck. so you z06 must test around 13.4 on average eh??

anyways it was a question, because i know that most supras hit 13.8 with a good driver and 13.4 with a pro in excellent conditions.and with retarted drivers who don,t know how to launch it right will obviously ruin everything. besides my racing buddy in tracy about 2 years back now was consistently hitting 13.568 in his supra STOCK, and he is no pro driver. And my boss here hits 13.6-13.7 consitently, so i say the numbers are pretty attainable, just like with most cars like the corvette, with the corvette its actually harder because its so torquey.

besides i like the supra, but if i had to decide i'd take the vette anyday... so don;t go off saying something like i,m a fanboy ok zo6nut <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> because your obviuosly the one who seems to look for anything positive said about a import and try to bash it.

so all in all it like this you say the supra with a 13.4 time is hitting 14.0... ok then a gto with 13.5 is hitting a 14.1 heh either way it sthe same <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  8. If anybody reads Car & Driver you would know that the new skyline is now in production only in Japan for now. They will start production in the U.S. in later 2005 to 2006.

The Car & Driver that talks about the new skyline is the September or october issue.
