Re: No Subject Jag only made one of these, and that is in their little museum up where they make the cars. This is the only one they are going to make too
Re: No Subject Perhaps Britains best car ever, or at least in a very close tie for first with the Lotus Esprit.
Re: No Subject I like this better than the Astons. I hope they build a road-going version of it and do it without toning down the power. This is sweet just like it is.<!-- Signature -->
Re: No Subject How do you tell what the ground clearance on one of these is? From what I've seen, Jags' tend to be a little higher off the ground than say Ferraris or Lamborghinis...doesnt seem to impair the performance a bit, but I'm curious...
Re: No Subject Simply a beautifull car. Nice design, nice power. Hope they put it in production. keep the faith
Re: No Subject Sorry sniper, but I don't really think Jag is going to put this car into production, it's just to impractical. P.S. sweet car<!-- Signature -->
Re: No Subject I loved this car the moment I saw it back in like 1998 or something like that. I really hope Jaguar decides to make this car and that BYBYCOPS is wrong about what he said (No offense dude, but i really want Jaguar to make this thing!). It is a sweet looking car, I love it. The whole "no roof" thing is a little impractical, but otherwise I love the design, very sleek.<!-- Signature -->
Re: No Subject actually they made 2 of them. 1 right and 1 left habd drive, but they have absolutley no intensions to bring it into production. It was made to promote Jag's up and coming aftermarket parts division. I dont think it looks anything like a vanquish and it came out like 3 years ago. Its name is false advertising. the 180 is supposed to mean 180 mph, but it only went 160 something in a car and driver test.

I really hope they will put this in production... keep the faith<!-- Signature -->
Re: No Subject The front end looks almost identical to the XK8. And once, I was watching the hemmings road show, and I happend to catch Dennis gage (the host) and that lucky bastard got a ride in the thing!!! The engine was really low pitch, cool sounding. woo, that was the closest ive ever experienced one (on T.V.-sad eh?) But I liked it none the less.<!-- Signature -->
Re: No Subject All you guys have to see the video of Tiff Needel thrashing this car. He makes that car do all the things that we would die trying to do <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"> <!-- Signature -->

Re: No Subject The Vanquish was designed by a Jaguar designer AFTER leaving Jaguar for Aston Martin...This was after the release of the XK8/XKR...The VANQUISH LOOKS LIKE THE XK8!!! As for the XK180, it may go into production, but at the price tag of a car like this, who cares about practicality??? It looks wicked, and it kicks ass, its not meant to be practical, its meant to fly!!! but one thing is missing...(not the roof)... its missing...A V12 ENGINE!!! the legendary JAGUAR V12 engine!!! slap that into one of these baby's and feel the G's!!! Now thats what Im talking about!!! If someone were to buy one of these cars, with a V12 engine, and its price tag, practicality would be the last thing on their minds, believe me...<!-- Signature -->
Re: No Subject motor week had this car, and raced it against other jaguars. it actually edged the XJ220 on the track.
Re: No Subject its production form should be the F-Type... it'll eventually be made.. as one Ford source said, sometime this decade
