    Norris Design EVO 9

    Back in 2005 Norris Design built the wildest EVO ever - a 928BHP, two-door, short wheel base monster capable of hitting 60mph in 2.4 seconds, 100mph in 4.3 and carrying on to 201.42mph. Frustrated by constent transmission problems and complications and breakages. Owner Simon Norris and his team spent the last 6 months stripping down and re-building and innovating the ballistic bogey for the 2009 Time Attck season.
    Now the EVO 9 features a longitudinally mounted engine and mated to a £12,500 Holinger RDS-S six speed sequential gearbox, this then uses stronger, cheaper Skyline GT-R differentials and transfer box to mantain 4WD with a better weight distribution.
    " the best on the 1/4 mile has been 9.26 seconds at 160mph, but that featured plenty of wheelspin. hopefully i'll be able to get into the eight's with the new setup"

    Nuts. That would've been such a tight Group B rally car if that was still allowed.

    you can do an endless amount of body/chasis work
    you can put in a whole new tranny
    you can pull 9xx hp out of the engine
    why the hell cant u paint the hood and the bumper the same color as the rest of the car?

    I really like the evo as a two door. I still dont understand why Mitsubishi never produced a low slung coupe with the evo drivetrain. It would have made a great top trim for the eclipse, replacing the old GSX

    Why dont they just build their own car if they're gonna replace almost everything in the old one?

    I know it's a big hp car but he is rubbish

    im pretty sure simon norris is british. and they have been doing well in the Time Attack series, which is more than just quarter miles.

    4 x std 560cc injectors, 4x 1200cc ND injectors, SARD dash 8 large fuel regulator, DI 8 injector fuel rail, ND custom aluminium low level fuel tank, twin bosch 044 in tank fuel pumps, pre and post filters, Twin dash 8 fuel feed lines with single Dash 8 return.

    My GOD this car is sick! I want one! Do you think it could beat this time attack record set at Tsukuba by the HKS CT230R (much lower hp)?
