Not LS2?

    Couldn't they get a hold of the newer LS2 instead? Unless I'm greatly mistaken, SSC uses the LS2 for their cars and see how much power they pull out of that engine.

    im pretty sure the development that went into this engine for this car started before the ls2 was released here

    yep. But it would have been good if they had got their hands on an LS2 engine.
