  2. I'm sorry everyone, but have any of you ever been in an NSX and driven it. Because i'm getting real sick of everyone complaining about how weak it is. Don't like its' stock power, then UPGRADE IT! ComptechSport does a beautiful job of this, just check out the Comptech NSX to see what they did to that. The NSX has a great beginning gear climb which results in quick acceleration. Also, the car is very sleek and luxurious. The inside has nothing but high tech equipment and beautiful design. The ride is very smooth and this car does not consume nearly as much gas as the Vipers, Ferrari's or Lamborghini's do. Bottom line, if you want a great car with tons of potential and a smooth, sweet ride, look no further than the NSX. You can always upgrade it in the future.

  3. Re: NSX RULES!!!

Yes, it's a nice car. No, it's not worth $90,000. For that much money I don't want a car that's upgradeable. I don't want a car that you can modify to get more power. For $90,000 I want a car that just kicks ass off the showroom floor. I would sooner take a Corvette Z06, even if they were the same price. Does the NSX have nicer interrior than the Z06? Probably. But for 90K I want to do more than just sit inside and say, "Wow, nice interrior."

Now if Honda can make a car like the NSX in say, the 45K range, then we're talking. But right now I'm afraid the price is just heavier than the car. <!-- Signature -->

Here's a list of times in nurburgring of the following cars:

    1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R- 8:22.38
    1990 Honda NSX- 8:16.15
    1991 Porsche 911 Turbo- 8:08.73
    1992 Honda NSX-R- 8:03.86

    All info is from www.vtec.net

You can also download clips for prove.

    1/4 mile: NSX Type S- 12.8s
    Porsche 911 S4- 13.8s
    Nissan Skyline GTR- 13.8s
    Ferrrai F355- 13.8s

Then why do I spend CAD $250000 on 911 turbo when NSX can beat it?

  5. Re: NSX RULES!!!

Reason is because those figures outdate it!!
The R34 set a new record on the full track..then the Porsche 911 GT2 and GT3 came and beat the R34.

Lol..and the ride in the NSX is smoothe until you hit some tar strips on the road then your ass will get sore..but it's still a fun car to drive =)
    Me likes....one of the Honda's I actually like =P

  6. Re: NSX RULES!!!

i agree with seansvette. this is a nice car but for less money you can buy a lingenfelter 427 zo6 and it performs so much better.
    0-60=3.4 sec (skipping 2nd gear)
    1/4 mile = 11.7
    550 hp
    530lbs/ft torque
and a top speed of 226 mph.

the vette is obviously the better choice.

  7. Re: NSX RULES!!!

Man..you peeps dun get it do you?
People who buy these cars don't just do it for performance, but for show too!!
I mean you see shitloads of Vettes out there, but not many NSXes...and when one does go flying by ya, I guarantee you'll looke @ it. Even if the car is parked somewhere!!

Plus, the Vettes are pure performance. They are pre-built race cars. The NSX is the mechanics performance upgrade dream!! The engine itself when non-restricted (ECU) actually pumps out around 350-400hp =P
    and it's all from a lil 3.2L engine =P

Yeah, everybody just looks at the NSX (at least most people) instead of the corvettes.
Because there's corvettes everywhere, too bad not now, they're almost all gone...
Don't know where people put them, but they really did hid them somewhere.<IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->

Cuz no one has the cash to buy American Muscles..and if they do they get like a Mustang or Trans Am or Z28.

Vette is the elite of the elite of American Muscle =)

I'M TIRED OF TALKIN TO ASSHOLES WHO LOVE THOSE CRAPPY JAPENESE CARS OR VIPERS AND THAT KINDA SHITY CARS. IF YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT REAL SPORTS CARS THEN TALK ABOUT A LAMBORGHINI, A FERRARI, AND ESPECIALLY THE NEW BUGATTI EB 16/4 VEYRON WHICH IS THE FASTEST PRODUCTION CAR RIGHT NOW, **** THE MCLAREN F1 OR STUPID ASS CHEVROLET CALLAWAY SLEDGEHAMMER CORVETTE.

THE VIPER IS REALLY UNDERPOWERED BECAUSE IT HAS A HUDGE V10 BUT A BMW V8 OR A PORSCHE 6CYLINDERS TWIN TURBO ENGINE WOULD BEAT IT. AND DON'T SAY ANY THING ABOUT A TUNED VIPER OR RACING VIPER CUZ IF THEY HAVE TO TUNE A V10 TO GET IT TO PERFORM GOOD THEN THEY REALLY HAVE PROBLEMS.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT TALKIN TO ME ABOUT A SUBARU. THEY SUCK. PEOPLE ARE COMPARING IT TO A BMW, BUT THEY DON'T COMPARE STUFF LIKE TOPSPEED OR QUALITY AND STUFF LIKE THAT CUZ THEY KNOW THAT THE BMW WOULD WIN. AND IT'S AWD SYSTEM IS REALLY OLD, MY GRANDFATHER HAD A LANCIA DELTA WITH THE SAME AWD 25 YEARS AGO.

JAPENESE CARS SUCK MY LEFT NUT,
AMERICANS HAVE GREAT CARS (CAMARO, TRANS AM...) AND SOME SHITY CARS (VIPERS, CORVETTES)
    EURO CARS ARE THE BEST.

Thats the point. I should have to upgrade a "Supercar"! The car should be Super when I buy it. I KNOW IT HAS GREAT POTENTIAL! I've seen what these cars can do when there upgraded!!

BUT THE POINT IS HONDA SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE POTENTIAL BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!!

At least when I buy a ZO6 I know they poured there heart into it.

The truth is I'm starting to like this car becuase of it's potential. But I would never give it the title as a great supercar if it's stock.

    Yeah, whatever.
You go tell to upgrade the limits!
    not 2808ps. but 600ps. how's that!?

Don't you reconize these are Japanese cars?
all of them could ONLY be 280 ps.
    Can't ANY of you listen!?
We are VERY tired of repeating that there's a limit on Japanese cars.<!-- Signature -->

You are putting the NSX down because it is not near the max potential and yet you commend the Z06 because it is.... that is strange. What are you talking about The Corvette is no where near its potential either. Havn't you seen the 650 HP Corvettes in the magazines or the 1300 HP street legal one.... talk about no where near its potential....<!-- Signature -->

  24. Re: NSX RULES!!!

Well then, all cars ain't near their potential, like Skylines goes to 1400+hp
    Supras 1000+hp
