So I bid on a couple DVD's on Ebay. Batman and Batman Returns. They were cheap, like $6.99. It was one of those things where the seller gives you a dicount on shipping if you order more than one item from them. Cool. I won the Batman auction, but I was outbid for the Batman Returns auction. So I get the email from the seller with the invoice for the total price with shipping charges, and I'm like... shit, I really wanted to get that shipping discount for two items. So I got on Ebay again, and search the sellers other auctions to see if he's got another auction for a Batman Returns DVD, and he did, and it was ending in 2 days too, so I could fully win the item and get him to ship both at the same time. So I bid on it, and on Monday I get this email from Ebay: -----Original Message----- From: firstname.lastname@example.org [mailto:email@example.com] Sent: Monday, November 08, 2004 6:05 PM To: Wheelman Subject: eBay Auction 6338512569 Cancelled - Results Null and Void Dear Wheelman, Please be advised that the following auction: 6338512569 - DVD MOVIE - Batman Returns was ended early by eBay. Good thing I decided to wait before paying for that first auction I won. Anyone have anything like this happen to them?
