  2. HI bASMAN007. The blue monaco car with the DB7 wheels had the body conversion carried out by paul baily at his workshop just out side bristol in 1998. the car is not a kit.

  3. This model 001 was built for The Sultan of Brunei hence the Gold Growler and diamond eyes ,I own 008 as featured elsewhere in this forum .I found out about this site by clicking a link on an e bay listing for a 3.6 Monaco self built .Great to find a site that shares info on these stunning cars !.

  14. For the record, I am alive! I did have health issues but never went bankrupt. The Monaco project was sold to v12 engineering in Texas. Interesting comments from all postings, several errors! I guess it's a bit like Chinese whispers!

  15. I would like to see a Monaco based on current Jags.

  16. There seems to be quite a following for the cars I made! Perhaps someone should start an owners club? Collect as much info on models and tips on repair/maintenance etc? If someone wants to take this on I would be happy to add any information to archive and put a few facts straight!!

  19. Had ideas to do a wide arched kit for xk , they must be cheap enough now and worthy of an 'new monaco' treatment! If anyone feels they want to start a club for the pbb Monaco I would be happy to contribute archive info and put a few 'facts' correct! Seems there is quite a following for these vehicles. If there is enough intrest I'm happy to 'pen out' some ideas for Monaco II. Only available throughout the club??
