Personal Preferances

  1. OK, so what'll it be:

911 Carrera (base 911, read wheel drive)
    911 Carrera 4 (4WD)
    911 Targa (base 911 + big sunroof)
911 Cabriolet (wind in hair motoring + optional hardtop cover)
    911 Cabriolet 4 (4WD convertible)
    911 4S ('widebody' turbo bodywork, wheels & brakes + 4WD & PSM)

Personaly, and considering price, I'd take the base spec car. Extra weight of 4WD system (and convertible) dulls performance slightly and I preffer my cars with minimal understeer at the limit. I think the Targa is a costy gimic and not worth the extra cash. I also preffer the 'pure' look of the base car but would take the 18" wheels and bigger brakes and more muscular exhaust options available.

What does everyone else think?<!-- Signature -->

id go for the targa actually, but in reality id save for a gt3... the targa is very nice, makes it feel alot more open.
