The moment you've all been waiting for (I wish), the new photoshop contest is here. I hope you guys like the pic I chose, I know it's a concept car but I think this one is good for a contest on here. There's a lot of possibilities and I think it's a good picture to work with for people who are less skilled in photoshop or for those who haven't used it in a long time (like me). Comments are welcome. Entries have to be mailed to [email protected] before 10 PM, Friday, 28th of July. Take your time and put some work into it. Entries have to have a resolution of at least 1024*768. (they will be resized to 1024*768 if they are larger). If you guys think a larger resolution would be better, please do mention it. Same thing about the deadline. The entries of previous contests can be found over here (still needs some updates): http://www.supercars.net/Gallery?cmd=viewGallery&uID=67951&gID=942&pgID=1 Good luck all
PS: I just noticed there was a watermark on the picture so I edited it out. Since you can't seem to remove pictures from your post. Just check to make sure you're using the one without the watermark.
july not june <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>
Nice clean shape to work with too <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
The only thing that bothers me is the front rimm. Usually with cars in that stance the wheelarch is covering a small part, which makes it impossible to put that rimm on this car. Blah.
Although I'm not overly talented with ps, I might give it a go. Don't be too surprised if it closely resembles the clearsider or whatever that abomination was called.
Don't worry. Just give it a go, a lot of people on here aren't that good with ps and still compete. At least, that was with the previous contests.
Cool <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> What do you guys think about the resolution of the entries? Ok like mentioned in the first post or preferably larger? I don't know which screen resolution most people have on here.
i'm running 1920x1080. 1024x768 is a good size to scale too, as it would hide the not-so-perfect parts of the 'shop haha
A minimum of 1024 x 768 anything larger is resized by the browser automatically anyway when 'view image' is selected
