Better tell Richard that if you are absolutely sure. He wants to do a feature on the car for SC.net's main page with these photos and more from the same photographer. >8^) ER
Im 100% sure. the panel cutlines are off. The front end has some design differences. The headlight surround panel area slightly overlaps the front narrow grille in the real car. The front windshield guard is not that high. the roof line is off. the side windowlet area is wrong. the rear is proportioned differently, and the back license plate holder is too shallow. Its a fake. A very good fake, but definitely not the real one.

I see even more differences now. the rear fuel filler cap is missing. The keyhole in the back under the trunk is missing. the side marker lights are missing. Yes absolutely sure this is fake.
well it isnt real. Its based on a Corvette. I guess its a pretty good replica but they didnt pay close enough attention to detail.
Okay - not a replica, but not the original. Someone on FChat was able to explain and offer these links: This car is an old Gandini design recycled by Mako Shark Srl. 12 examples planned... (Italian) http://www.virtualcar.it/iso-grifo-90/ Mako Shark Srl.: http://www.mako-shark.com/IT/template01.aspx?padre=5&codicemenu=15 = = = = = So the design is being revived, with changes to build a small production run which I think should be applauded even if they aren't staying true to every detail of the original. That same statement can be made for most other cars versus their original concepts, so I don't see it as a big issue. >8^) ER
it is a pretty faithful replica. Its definitely not the real car but they did a good enough job on it to fool most people.
Came across this at the local Porsche dealer. Working on a full set of pics, this is the first teaser for now.
Another quick teaser, I know this'll be appreciated here. Full set a little while away, editing might take a bit.

Don't worry it is going to be around here for a while yet. It has just been reunited with the Martini 935 it shipped out here with. There are some pretty nice sets of photos circulating of it competing at Bathurst.
Martini 935? God damn <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> Any links to those photo sets? edit: could only find this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nettsu/4512637674/
